Today we waded through mud and fought the Texas-sized mosquitoes to place 100 flags in the field next to La Porte City Hall. Each flag represents a service member that never came home. As we prepare for this event, we want to thank our corporate sponsors, Pipefitters Local Union 211, Beacon Federal Credit Union, & Houston Gulf Coast Building and Construction Trades Council. The dedication for the Healing Field will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 6pm. Public is invited! The flags will be on display May 22 - May 29th.
