Sailing Angels Foundation and Red, White, & Boots Gala

September 14th was absolutely amazing - we spent the day honoring our Matthew 💙

We started the morning with an invite from Woody Williams Foundation & Sailing Angels Foundation to go on a morning boat ride with a few other Gold Star Families. Then lunch at Landry’s Seafood, compliments of Texas Fallen Project, Inc.

We then headed to the Folds of Honor Red, White and Boots Gala thanks to a sponsorship from Pipe Fitters Local Union 211 - Houston, TX. We gathered with fellow Gold Star Mothers and friends to raise money & pay honor to our troops and those who never came home. We were greeted with an unexpected surprise as we walked through the doors of the Lone Star Flight Museum to see a huge picture of our boy in the Wall of Heroes. I cannot express our gratitude enough to all the individuals who made this day so utterly precious to our family. 🇺🇸
