An invitation from the Wharton Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture for the Gold Star Mothers of America - Greater Houston to speak at their July 5th Freedom Fest brought the PFC Matthew K. Guyon Foundation to Wharton.

We were honored with the opportunity to speak about our Matthew and his fallen brothers-in-arms—Army SPC Jarrett Kotalik, Air Force TSgt Cody Ball, Army PFC Trent J. Fontenot, Navy Hospital Corpsman Kristofer Guy, Marine LCpl Armando Hernandez, and Army Sgt Adam Huckstep-LaPorte.

Throughout the event, we met many incredible people, sharing stories of our heroes, the mission of our foundation, and our deep love for this country.

We are truly grateful to the Wharton community for their warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.

God bless America.
