A Salute to Heroes on the Water 🇺🇸⚓

Today was a beautiful morning filled with sunshine, gratitude, and an incredible display of appreciation for those who serve.
We were honored to be invited by Sailing Angels to join several heroes aboard the La Vida Luxury Yacht for the 2026 Salute to Heroes Boat Parade. With approximately 30 other boats joining us, we set sail in celebration of our military veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders.
One of the most meaningful parts of the morning was having the opportunity to share Matthew’s story and talk about the legacy he left behind. As a family, we are grateful for every opportunity to speak his name, share his heart for others, and help keep his memory alive. Being able to share his story among so many heroes made this experience especially meaningful to us.
A heartfelt thank-you to Sailing Angels for including us in such a special event, and to Captain Greg and his wife, Beth, for their hospitality and for helping make the day so memorable.
We are grateful for the fellowship, the beautiful morning on the water, and the opportunity to honor heroes while continuing to speak Matthew’s name. 🇺🇸
