Connecting Through Community

One of the most meaningful parts of building the PFC Matthew K. Guyon Foundation is the opportunity to connect with others who believe in the power of community.
Recently, we had the privilege of attending the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Mixer, featuring Friends of La Porte Animal Shelter (FLPAS). The evening brought local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners together around a shared commitment to making La Porte a better place.
We enjoyed meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and learning more about the important work being done to support animals, families, and our community. It was a beautiful reminder that when organizations come together, we can create a greater impact than any of us can achieve alone.
We are grateful to the Chamber for creating opportunities like this and to everyone who continues to support causes that strengthen our community. Connecting, collaborating, and showing up for one another is how we keep Matthew’s spirit of caring and service alive.
Together, we can make a difference. 🇺🇸
